Description Technical Specs

The Callaway RAZR X Black irons are a new and improved version of the original RAZR irons. They are an advanced game-improvement iron designed for maximum precision and distance from every spot on the clubface. Optimized distance progression through the set insures consistency and improves accuracy while a Black PVD Finish produces a distinctive look for reduced glare. It has an undercut cavity in back for maximum forgiveness, a large offset which helps you keep the club face closed at impact to reduce the chance of slicing the ball to the right, and it has a nice thin profile from the top which gives it a very traditional look. These clubs are designed for mid- to high-handicap golfers (shooting 85-100) who want an extremely forgiving club with more of a "traditional" shape, unlike a lof of the super-wide-sole clubs that you see on the market today.

4 of 5 Laser X Black Irons July 16, 2013
Reviewer: Ross from Idaho
ordered these purely because I couldn't justify spending the money on a genuine  Callaway set. I oredered  a full set of heads from 5i to LW, and mated them up to  Apollo Black Steel stepless shafts, and these have performed amazingly since the word go!  extremely accurate and distance is great.. the only con I really have with these is that the heads are  not powder coated, but painted, and the paint will wear off very quickly, especially in bunkers (paint on my SW came off the sole at the driving range bunker, the first time I  ever swung the club).. so, that said if aesthetics are your thing,  don't expect the finish to keep its' beauty for  long, but if you're just looking for a good  forgiving iron to improve your game, then these are definitely worth  looking into!
