The Thriver is My Driver January 15, 2014 Reviewer: Andrew   Great feel from this driver. Bought one with a UST Mamiya Competition Series Red shaft, it has a great ball flight and feel. Great for golfers trying a "square-to-square" golf swing that can "de-loft" a driver during impact. Was this review helpful to you?

Stays in my bag! October 29, 2013 Reviewer: Jim   As a clubmaker, I am always trying and demonstrating new drivers of different lofts and different shaft flexes. This is my favorite driver of all time! It has been in my bag for over 6 months now and it will NOT be replaced. I have it shafted with a UST Gold 65 regular flex shaft (I am almost 70 now) at 44 inches long and I hit fairways a lot further down than I used to. Great club! Was this review helpful to you?

Well Worth the Money September 12, 2013 Reviewer: RICH   An excellent concept for a driver. Frankly, I don't want to share the idea with too many folks as I am enjoying watching my buddies pay me at the end of each round. Point and Shoot Straight September 12, 2013 Reviewer: Jeff   I had this driver shafted up at 44.5" with an Xcaliber SL driver shaft and this thing is amazing! You point it where you want to go and it delivers! This Thriver was only yards shorter than my TM R1 driver! I could work the ball a little left and right, too. I was afraid that 14 degrees of loft and a 1 degree closed face would cause high hooks, but my fears were put to rest after hitting a few balls on the range then testing it side by side with my R1 on the course. I typically hit my driver all over the place at the end of a round due to fatigue and was no different this time, but the Thriver was still straight as a string all the way thru the round! Needless to say, the R1 is going in storage, while the Thriver is in the bag! The copper head mated with the Xcaliber SL shaft and a Winn Excel tan wrap grip make a very attractive package, too. I had several people on the range and on course comment on the looks and sound of the Thriver. It has that nice "tink" sound.........not too loud or too muted. Get one, you won't be disappointed. great sound very solid at impact August 31, 2013 Reviewer: kim   I have a number of Acer driver heads all do something a little different. I paired the thriver to the Gramen G60 stiff flex and I will have to tell you this really is alot of fun. The balls are straight , sound incredible and get reasonable distance. I do not get the distance as say the the 47" long leggera but I can put the ball anywhere on the fairway I wish at around 235 yards. I had to send the first one back as the Acer label fell off the back after a couple strikes. Was this review helpful to you?

Highly Positive August 31, 2013 Reviewer: Rickey Jubert   I have been a club maker for 25 yrs ! Just put together this driver with a Leyland energized tip shaft in regular flex. What a beautiful looking club , everyone I showed loved it. This is really a solid sounding and hard hitting club and no problem matching distances with all the boys using their lower lofted and longer name brand clubs . I had the previous model which was also quite lengthy off of the tee but on mishits you could hear the ting of metal. This new Thriver even on toe shots is as solid as they come and really lost no distance with a poor hit. Very controllable for shaping shots and looks great at address. You won't go wrong with this bad boy ! Grip it and rip it , enjoy. Definitely in the top 5 of clubs I have made over the years. Was this review helpful to you?
